Ohio Holsteins at WDE

Ohio Holsteins are strong on the national and international stages, and put a great group of Holsteins and Red and Whites through the International shows at World Dairy Expo in Madison, WI these last few days.

Below are cattle who placed in the top 10, but there are many more who were just out of the medal consideration. Congratulations to all breeders and exhibitors. Your hard work and dedication show through in all the great cattle who came out on to the colored shavings!

NOMINATION AND ELIGIBILITY:
Calf (calves) must be nominated and paid for by October 20, 2026 (See Entry Fees).
All calves born Sept. 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026 inclusive are eligible for THE NATIONAL HOLSTEIN FUTURITY NO. 72.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:
1) Make all four payments in one – $30.00 each animal,
2) the usual $3.00 schedule, or
3) the herd size annual payment. (See National Futurity explanation letter for more details)

The 2025 January/February Ohio Holstein News has been mailed and will be in your hands soon! This issue is our All-Ohio Focus, and features write-ups about the farms on the self guided breeder tour as part of the District 7 hosted Ohio Holstein Convention and Annual Meeting in Wooster, Ohio.

The tours are on Friday, March 7, from 10 a.m – 5 p.m. before the Convention Sale.

**UPDATE** – The Ohio Holstein Assocation office will be open for convention goers to stop in between 3-5 p.m. at 1375 Heyl Road, Wooster, OH
