Junior Ohio Membership

Membership in the Ohio Junior Holstein Association is due by February 1 of each year. Lifetime membership is $20.

To be considered for Junior All Ohio honors, a junior membership must be paid before July 15, which is also the transfer deadline for a Holstein to be transferred into a Junior’s name for National Contests. (rules below)

ALL JUNIOR MEMBERS named on the registration paper of an animal in consideration for the Junior All Ohio contest MUST be members of the Ohio Junior Holstein Association

Ohio Distinguished Junior Member Contest

Ohio Holstein DJM Application

A new contest will be added to the 2025 Ohio Holstein Convention and Annual meeting for Junior Members!

The Ohio Distinguished Junior Member (DJM) contest is open to any youth who is an Ohio Junior Holstein Association member in good standing. One winner will be selected to receive recognition, a personalized award, and a monetary prize.

Applications and recommendation letters must be submitted via email to oholstein@sssnet.com by February 16th. This means the latest you can submit your materials is 11:59 PM EST on February 16th.

Interviews will be conducted at the Annual Meeting, and winners will be announced at the Annual Meeting Luncheon. Applicants will be contacted prior to the Annual Meeting to set up an interview time.
