Hey!! Remember us – the Ohio Holstein News?!?!

We have had the summer “off”  – enjoying the fast pace of hay and straw harvest, county and state fair hustle and bustle, and hopefully some family time in the water / sun / air conditioning! But – its time to get back into the swing of things. Back to school, back to reality, back to business.

Fall is right around the corner – and with that is World Dairy Expo, and the next deadline for the Ohio Holstein News! This is the Midwest Holsteins issue (over 6000 subscribers) and it is available at World Dairy Expo (over 56,000 attendees) – meaning MORE EXPOSURE for your farm, business and family!

JANUARY 10th is the Ad Deadline for the January / February Ohio Holstein News.

Ohio Holstein breeders have a lot to be thankful about from 2023 and looking to 2024!

The January / February 2024 issue of the Ohio Holstein News is the All Ohio issue. In addition to those with this honor, we want to help recognize all the breeders and exhibitors who have had All American Nominations (Red and Black) and Winnings (Red) | Junior All American Nominations (Red and Black) and Winnings (Red) | recently classified herd updates | Ohio Holstein Convention and other spring sale consignments | and more!

Brag a little! You guys worked hard for these honors – let us help you be noticed.

Ohio Holstein News Ad Contest

Hello Ohio Holstein Members!
We have seen so many incredible ads this year and we wanted to see which one was your favorite!
We will be doing an Ad of the Year contest!
We need YOU!…to nominate an ad that was your favorite. You don’t have to be an advertiser to nominate an ad, but if you are an advertiser, you’re welcome to nominate your own ad!!
We will be doing an Ad of the Year for full page ads and half page ads, each as a separate category.
Please be sure to submit your nominations no later than January 29th.
You can submit to Melissa Hart (farm.writer@hotmail.com) or Sarah Hart (shart6@emich.edu), or message our Ohio Holstein Facebook page. Simply let us know the advertiser’s name and which Ohio Holstein News issue it was in or include a picture of the ad.
Voting begins on February 12th, so get your submissions in soon!
