Ohio Holstein By-Laws Update

A committee reviewed the Ohio Holstein Association Constitution and By-Laws and submitted their suggestions for changes or updates to the wording in the document to reflect current times. The Board of Directors passed the revisions at their December 2023 board meeting and the Ohio Holstein Association Membership will vote on the revisions at the Annual Meeting on March 9, 2024 in Lima, Ohio.

The committee who presented the changes to the Board of Directors was Dallas Rynd, Judy Wolford, Jason Robinson and Erica Davis.

Ohio Holstein Queen Contest

The Ohio Holstein Queen is accepting contestants for the 2024 year. We encourage young Ohio Holstein women, at least 16 years of age as of January 1, 2024, to look into this opportunity to represent the Ohio Holstein industry at shows and events.

Congratulations to all the Ohio Red and White breeders and exhibitors on your hard work and genetics being recognized! Below are the JUNIOR and OPEN Red and White All American Honorees from Ohio!

All results were announced on Sunday, December 31, 2023 on the Red And White Dairy Cattle Association Facebook page. Go there for the full All American, Reserve and Honorable Mention names. Results will be on the Red and White Dairy Cattle Association website soon.

We will be doing an Ad of the Year contest!

We need YOU!…to nominate an ad that was your favorite. You don’t have to be an advertiser to nominate an ad, but if you are an advertiser, you’re welcome to nominate your own ad!!

We will be doing an Ad of the Year for full page ads and half page ads, each as a separate category.

Please be sure to submit your nominations no later than January 29th.
