The 2025 January/February Ohio Holstein News has been mailed and will be in your hands soon! This issue is our All-Ohio Focus, and features write-ups about the farms on the self guided breeder tour as part of the District 7 hosted Ohio Holstein Convention and Annual Meeting in Wooster, Ohio.

The tours are on Friday, March 7, from 10 a.m – 5 p.m. before the Convention Sale.

**UPDATE** – The Ohio Holstein Assocation office will be open for convention goers to stop in between 3-5 p.m. at 1375 Heyl Road, Wooster, OH

Ohio Holstein Convention & Annual Meeting

The Ohio Holstein Association, Inc. would like to invite you to the 104th Convention and Annual Meeting on March 7-8, 2025 in Wooster, Ohio. Hosted by District 7, Friday will consist of a full day of self guided farm tours and will meet at the Ice Plant at Minglewood Distilling Co that evening for an evening of fellowship and the virtual Convention Sale.

There will also be planned Junior Holstein activies during this time!

Saturday, March 8 will have the Ohio Holstein Woman’s annual meeting, interviews for Outstanding Junior and the Ohio Holstein Queen, and the Ohio Junior and Ohio Holstein Association Annual Meetings. A great meal with awards and a fun auction supporting the Ohio Women’s funding to scholarships, fixing up the office and other ventures.

The convention hotel will be Best Western, 243 East Liberty Street, Wooster, OH, 330-264-7750, with reservations need to be made by February 3, 2025. There is a block reserved for Ohio Holstein. Rooms are $115.99 / night plus tax and a free breakfast is included. A well stocked dairy bar will also be available.

Congratulations to the Junior All Ohio Winners from the 2023 show season. These youth were honored on the Ohio Holstein Association Facebook page, have been published in the January / February 2024 Ohio Holstein News and will be honored in person at the Ohio Holstein Association Convention and Annual Meeting awards banquet on March 9 in Lima, Ohio.

Many of these exhibitors, breeders and animals were extremely competitive on a national level as well!
