Ohio had many Holstein youth at World Dairy Expo, with some competing in the very competitive Judging contest and others walking the colored shavings. We are proud of all of our Holstein youth, and commend these and all the juniors who had their cows and heifers grace the big stage!
Judging results (from the Ohio 4-H Dairy Judging Facebook Page):
Wyatt Schlauch finished 10th overall and Lillian Finke was also All American, placing 25th and Aubrey Topp missed the top 25 by 1, landing 26th followed by Jacob Borchers in 29th. They were 7th in reasons and 8th team overall but only 11 points from 3rd place. Very close team competition!! More pictures and stats to follow. Thanks to all you Buckeye fans for the support and congrats to fellow Buckeyes, ATI, for their 3rd overall finish and Lauren Homan for taking home 2nd over all in post secondary contest! OSU also for some good work in the college division!Show results:
