SUMMARY:District 3 Eastern Ohio All-Breeds Show
DESCRIPTION:The Eastern Ohio All Breeds Show will be held June 17\, 2023 at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds\, Dover\, Ohio. The show is sponsored by the District III Holstein Club. The show will begin tentatively at 9:00 a.m. Entries are due by June 4\, 2023 for program listing. There will be a $5.00 entry fee per head. Entries should be marked with the letter of the breed. This year’s judge will be Phillip Topp\, Topp View\, Botkins\, Ohio. \nThere will be a Junior Show for all breeds. Holstein Junior Exhibitors must be current members of the Ohio Holstein Junior Association to receive any junior awards. \nThere will be showmanship classes\, with age groups 9-13\, 14-16\, 17-21. The showmanship contest will start at 8:00 a.m. and is open to any junior. Also there will be a kiddie’s showmanship for any boy or girl in 4-H. \nA photographer may be available for pictures. \nLate entries will be accepted until 6:00 a.m. the morning of the show. The fee for late entries will be $10.00 per head. Entries should be mailed to Louise Harding\, 4364 Schilling Hill Road\, New Philadelphia\, Ohio 44663. Health requirements will be the same as for state and county fairs. Registration papers will be checked. Absolutely no papers pending! DESCRIPTION:The deadline to enter livestock exhibitions is 1 p.m. on June 21\, 2023 \n  \nOnline entry helpful hints\n\nAll entries must be submitted online.\nPlease allow time to complete the entry process\, as the system will shut down at 12:59 p.m. on Wednesday\, June 21. Entries will be locked automatically at 1 p.m.\nLate entry fees will be charged ($75.00) beginning June 21 and late entries will be accepted through July 15. Late entries must be emailed to Barb Prince\, Entry Department (b.prince@expo.ohio.gov). Upon receipt of the email the entry department will make contact to secure credit card information. Please reference your department division for more details and to see if late entries are accepted. No late entry for junior market animals.\nAll junior livestock exhibitors must provide their date of birth. Date of birth is not required for open entries.\nJunior 4-H exhibitors must list the county in which the project is registered (in some cases\, this is not the same as the county in which you live). You must list your county educator or extension agent as the contact to verify your entry\, NOT your 4-H advisor.\nJunior FFA exhibitors must list the county in which the project is registered (in some cases\, this is not the same as the county in which you live). This MUST be done before any payment will be processed. Please be aware you will be asked for banking information\, as your payment will be direct deposit. You may use either a checking or savings account. If you have won $4\,999 or more in the past\, and have already set up a supplier account\, you do not need to register again.
