These internships provide unique\, professional experiences at the National Holstein Convention\, offering participants the chance to build their skills and gain industry exposure. Complete details and application information can be found at www.holsteinusa.com\, under Our Association in the main menu\, then Employment Opportunities. \n“These internships offer students a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in both communications and youth development within the dairy industry\,” said Lindsey Worden\, Holstein Association USA CEO. “We are excited to provide students with the chance to play a role in our biggest member event of the year\, while working alongside and learning from our experienced team.” \nHolstein Foundation Youth Programs Intern \nThe Holstein Foundation Intern will assist with youth contest development and coordination for the 2026 National Holstein Convention in Orlando\, Florida\, with a focus on the Dairy Bowl and Dairy Jeopardy competitions. This six-week internship runs from May 26 to July 2\, 2026\, and includes pre-event planning\, on-site execution\, and post-event wrap-up. \nThis internship will offer competitive hourly pay based on experience\, with housing provided in Brattleboro\, Vermont for the weeks leading up to the Convention\, as well as all transportation\, lodging\, and meals associated with attending the National Holstein Convention. \nNational Holstein Convention Communications Intern \nThe National Holstein Convention Intern will assist the Holstein Association USA communications team with event coverage and content creation for the 2026 National Holstein Convention in Orlando\, Florida. This fast-paced\, two-week internship runs from June 19 to July 2\, 2026\, and offers hands-on experience in photography\, social media management\, writing\, and public relations. \nThis internship will offer competitive hourly pay based on experience\, as well as all transportation\, lodging\, and meals associated with attending the National Holstein Convention.

DESCRIPTION:Scholarship Opportunities\nFull applications and instructions can be found at www.ohioholstein.com on the Junior page. – DUE FEBRUARY 14\, 2025\nAll Applications Due to the Ohio Holstein Office (PO Box 479\, Wooster\, OH 44691) and must be received via email or postmarked by February 14\, 2025 \nEsther Welch Ag Communications Scholarship\nThe Esther Welch Ag Communications Scholarship is intended to recognize an Ohio Junior Holstein Association or Ohio Holstein Association member who exemplifies exceptional leadership\, participation\, communication skills and dedication in the Holstein and dairy industries.\n\nTo be eligible\, the applicant must be an Ohio Junior Holstein Association or Ohio Holstein Association member in good standing and a senior in high school or older and planning to pursue a communications degree with an agricultural emphasis.\n\nThe winner will receive $500 after the completion of their first (or next) college semester.\n\nOhio Memorial Award\nThe Ohio Memorial Award recognizes an Ohio Junior Holstein Member who exemplifies exceptional leadership\, participation and dedication in the Holstein and dairy industries. The winner receives $500.\n\nTo be eligible\, a youth must be an Ohio Junior Holstein Association member in good standing and a freshman in high school or older (not over the age of 21 as of January 1 of the application year) and has not received the Ohio Memorial Award previously.\n\nOhio Holstein Women Scholarship\nThe Ohio Holstein Women Scholarship is dedicated to the encouragement of deserving and qualified persons with a high school degree and with a dairy background to obtain an Associates\, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree\, or to start-up and continue in the dairy business.\n\nApplicants shall be high school graduates and may be up to 25 years of age. They must come from a Holstein dairy background\, active in dairy products\, 4-H\, FFA and/or work on a dairy farm. To be eligible\, the applicant must be an Ohio Junior Holstein Association or Ohio Holstein Association member in good standing. They should be second semester freshman or beyond and maintain at least a 2.25 cumulative grade point average and be in good standing with a university or mentoring representative.
